Trust Your Gut Instinct---I Shouldn't Be Alive

They say, always trust your gut instinct. Apparently our gut instinct is more accurate than thoughts from the brain or heart.
I always wonder about this.

For some reason I had picked up some apricot long candles. When I spotted them in the boot of my trusty Mitsy I gathered them up and took them inside. I didn't like the look of them but I live a tight life and live by the credo,
" Waste not, want not "
It's a practical thing and a Scottish thing, obviously.
Later on I cut them into small burn able pieces, each one not more than an inch long.
