It was the seventies and the sixties had passed away in a welter of drugs, music, fashion, and the times they were a changing. The seventies were the baby boomers settling down, having babies, marriages, marrying young, being parents young. I was 17 when I married, my Sister 19. I was ready to be a Mum, but as a wife ?

I had two girls in 11 months and three weeks, bringing home the second on the oldest's first birthday. I was skinny, lost the baby weight in six weeks, and felt weird. Disconnected.
