I am getting paid to write, from Google. So now I can say I am a writer. A paid writer on commission,. Royalties !
They are tiny amounts I guess but they go on for life. I remember my half Sister, Joyce, getting royalties for her husbands composing and arranging. She was a singer and he produced her C.D.s and the royalties they earned were steady and very welcome. Royalties for them came in from all over the world, Germany, the U.S. and that was long before the Internet came into being.
And that reminds me of a very funny recent story that happened to me two days ago and involved me ducking down and crawling along the floor on my belly.
