Let Her Down Easy and L'Wrenn Scott

Without Prejudice

Mick Jaggers girlfriend, L'Wrenn Scott passed away today. R.I.P xxx

If you are feeling depressed please get help, it is a horrible illness but can be treated these days, allowing you to live well, have a normal life.

People that do commit suicide have lost their will to live and that is such a sad thing. Our first instinct is survival, it ranks way above, food, water, sex, shelter. To lose that spark you would have to be very very ill.

Apparently she was in a dark place financially, debts of 8.5 million and her fashion label was not doing well, humiliating her. She could not afford to put on a show at Paris last week and was distraught about that.

Even that would not make you want to kill yourself, surely ? If you were thinking well, you would declare yourself bankrupt, write a best seller about it. Nothing can be that bad you can't turn it around. Can it ?

Gather your friends around to support you, family, just saying I am a bit down, would you be able to help ? " Make me laugh, see things in perspective."

Most things are neither as bad or as good as you imagine.

Mick Jagger was due to begin his Aussie tour in Perth this weekend. The tour has been cancelled and Georgia Jagger has cancelled her Melbourne Fashion Week, appearance.

Let Her Down Easy.

George Michael has released his new single, Let Her Down Easy, written by Terence Trent Derby.
( Great memory of a name from the eighties. Fabulous smooth voice. He moved to Italy and changed his name )

George Michaels rendition is tender. The message being for young men to let a young girl down easy when he wants to move on from her. As young girls hearts are so tender and soft. That first romance can be so influential on the rest of a woman's life.

You're top man on the scene
You don't think life comes in between

But hey, she's just seventeen
She feels that she's a worldly girl

But man you've been around the world
She is just some worried daddy's girl

Even though there's nothing I can say

Its just human nature any way

Let her down easy
Her heart is on a dime

Let her down easy
And you'll grow up in time

In her strawberry eyes
The way she sees you signifies

That she's susceptible to your velvet lies
But if you must lay her down

May a butterscotch glow be her dressing gown
And please do not lead her on when you leave town

Even though there's nothing I can say
Its just human nature any way

Let her down easy
Her heart is on the line
Let her down easy

I have teen grand girls now and would hate for them to have their hearts broken at such young ages, but just like my girls, they married and had children very young. I hate it for the boys too, to nurse wounds from broken hearts when they are so young. I keep telling them to party in their teens and twenties, not to settle down until after thirty.

Do they listen . Of course not !

I guess it doesn't matter, they are following a pattern learned from old. Marry young, have kids young and then when you have raised them, you can party. I was a grandmother at 37, my youngest daughter, Alena, is going to be a grandmother at 37.

We are such a big clan now and growing all the time. Three babies this year, a bumper crop. My daughter and her daughter in law had babies within weeks of each other earlier this year and now my grand daughter, Jade, is due in June.

We could be an episode on housos, if we lived in Frankston. Luckily I come from a big family myself and they all live in Qld and N.T. Most of them older than me and with a lot more sense, , stress and money but less Grandkids. They say they envy ME ! Ha !

But because of my experience in kids I do prewarn all the boys and all the girls how to guard their hearts against heartbreak. I tell them the first may not be the last love. That the first cut is the deepest and after that it may, just may, get a little easier. Everyone gets heartbroken at times.

To enrich their own lives with travel, cars, friends, fun times and not to be waiting at home for a call that doesn't come. Do they listen? No.

One decided to try and kill himself over a girl, he drank and doesn't drink, so not bright and we found him, dazed and confused and vomiting and dragged his sorry arse home. At last count he has had thirty thousand girls, lol, and most if them have kids to him. I despair of the bags of condoms I used to buy for him. No sense, no feeling.

He's a very good Dad, however. Fussy, freaky fussy, he thinks he will get the snip at just 24. Idiot.

We tell the boys not to break girls hearts. The oldest said after his heart was broken,

" I am going to HATE the world "
