it's the hardest thing to do. But you have to do it or you stay stuck in the past and that person is still hurting you. Don't allow it for one more second. it's time wasted. really. People are people and you picked badly, now get over it. It's time to move on.
There will be better people than you can imagine that come into your life, nicer, ethical, loyal people that you will LOVE spending time with. Why moon over someone that didn't want you in the end???? I have known all that myself and storing hurt is not good.
