We are going to be setting up a website to help Women and kids, we've been doing it for years, anyway and we are going to charge for old fashioned, realistic, music filled, fun and help. The only grim bit will be these facts.
Domestic Violence is insiduous and ugly and we don't see why victims of it, should be suffering from it.
Child abuse of any kind is to be stopped.
The reason we target women for help is that 98% of victims of domestic violence are women and children. I have always longed to have a big refuge for a few at a time. Mothers and children, because if you empower the woman, you empower her kids.
We empower women, to look after themselves, physically, once a women's self esteem is raised it's amazing how quickly things will change. And other woman help. And decent men. And there are lots of those out there in the Community.
We are not experts, just women that have been through the same thing and want to help as the results are fantastic. The five little ladies, me, Deborah, Yvette, Alena and I have families and woriies and things to do. But the joy of housing a person, making a life safe and warm and comfortable. There is NO better feeling than helping someone to come out of hiding and become empowered.
We have physical resources, emotional resources, and we help only when asked for help. The person has to have done some of the work themselves. The hardest step is the first one. The one out the door, mentally or physically. We can counsel all those steps as we have done them all.
Been homeless, unemployed, battered, dealt with depression, drugs, alcohol, threats, intimidation, we have been all of those things and now we are all living great love filled, fun and caring lives. With a bit od Rock and Roll thrown in for good measure.
We get requests via Facebook for counselling or by word of mouth. We've cleaned houses for men and women, housed men and women, saved drug addicts from themselves and their terrible addictions. We've seen what gambling addiction, drug addiction, power addiction, over eating, under eating.
And most of those problems come from childhood events, traumatic childhood events, sexual abuse, physical abuse, lack of love and affection, we have really seen most of it and we rescue. Or try to, people have to be ready that's why a web site. Dollar a problem or donation of however much. Get women back on their feet as women are really caring and kind and beautiful when given safety and advice and make up, ha ha
Love to everyone that shares our vision and thank you for all your help, Men know these things go on and have no time for men who abuse. So men are great helpers as they do the physical work and help us with money. Thank you to my brothers, brother in laws, son in laws, friends, lovers, for all their help. They know the pressures that drive males and give us great feedback and they are our silent angels.
