Without Prejudice
Andy felt something was wrong about the woman facing him at the bar, he wasn't quite sure what it was, he was pissed anyway , so what did he know?? His thinking slightly fuzzy.
And she was quite a woman, tall wearing a white PVC mac, blonde, beautiful, red lips, parted, leaning in close to get a light for her cigarette. Long eyelashes, pleasant, speaking softly
He thought,
"Wow!", she was gorgeous and fixated on him. He puffed out his chest a little.
He was there with mates, just as inebriated as he was.
They were sat at the other end of the bar, chatting up women and drinking, happy drunks, all wealthy and businessmen, successful and outgoing.
Andy was only staying there over night, South Yarra, near Walsh Street.
When Andy turned around after conversing with his mates the lady in the white mac was gone.
So Andy decided to make an early night of it, his host Ross having taken off earlier. He knew he would have to knock Ross up but it was fine, Ross wouldn't care.
He crossed the park, dimly lit and eerilie quiet and suddenly heard something to his right. It was the woman in the white trench coat, striding along side him, but still a fair way away. He thought he was really seeing things when she seemed to appear at his left sooner than he thought possible.
But she was waiting for him at a bush, and he at first thought all his Christmases had come at once, she was beautiful and beckoning him towards her.
But there was something funny about her, the sozzled Andy thought and he backed away, it was something about her eyes, Freaky.
So he crossed the quiet street in South Yarra and saw her up ahead of him at the top of a hill,
"Good, he'd slipped away from her"
He entered the glass vestibule and suddenly the woman was behind him. He pushed the buzzer for the flat,
"Ross, Ross, he yelled into the intercom and shouted his name up the echoing stair well.
The woman had him pinned up against the wall, and Andy realised she was looking down at him, amd he knew he was 6', so what did that make her?????
