Steve Jobs Stay Hungry- Stay Foolish

Without Prejudice

He stands a true ascetic, wasted by illness but still moving, speaking, inspiring and i am inspired, What a brain he has, immense, compassionate, inspiring, students covering their heads with papers in the baking sun, listening to his every word, drinking it in.

He had fun with his work, his passion and worked tirelessly to improve, create and I wonder if he ever slept or just rested for a few hours and then sprang out of bed, showering, dressing and back at Apple again.

He never finished college and dropping out took a Calligraphy course, with it's beauty and art and understood Sans Serif and the importance of the spaces in between letters. The beauty of form and ancient art,(The Book of Kells) Using the skill when he first made the Macintosh.

And he looks like a monk, lean, emaciated, his body boiled down to it's essence of bone and sinew and the light burns from his eyes determined to get his point across, and watching you want to touch him, reach him and say don't die,

knowing in your heart you are watching a man that died yesterday. Sad, you want to turn it off but you can't, you have to watch until the end, wanting that last piece of the puzzle as to what he thought, how he moved through his life, shy and diffident. And he had crashed and burned and after a few months of being at home, sacked from his own business, he started again from scratch.

He says follow your passion and it's not work, and that s so true, heed your passion and you will work for hours totally absorbed. Know your passion in life as in love
"Keep looking, don't settle"
"And he says then,
"I'll be dead soon", live every day, make every decision as if it was based on "I'll be dead soon" and you will change your thinking, sloughing off every bit of indecision. or shyness or looking like a fool and just keep moving on, there will always be days when Life throws a brick at your head, but quietly, assuredly, keep moving through the pain or heartache until naked, driven, you are following your heart. In everything, life, love, work, kids.

And The most Important advice coming last,

STAY HUNGRY--- STAY FOOLISH,

Yours in foolishness and hunger Steve Jobs. xoox janette
