There is no comparison. Queensland is divine in Winter. I love Melbourne, with a passion, for it's shops and my family of girls but the Sun shines in QLD and it's so much warmer. I can walk on the beach, I can shop in the sun, I can sunbake in the yard and tan my bum and topless shoulder area and fell the warmth soaking into my bones. The air is electric and the nights are warm.
In Melbourne I'd have the heater on and stay indoors and be miserable. Yes, there is no comparison, what so ever. I need the sun, I love it as much as I would a lover. It's warmth, its friendly smiling nature, It steadfastness to shine, they way it caresses my skin, it burns and sizzles and I am blessed
